2018 Bat Rule ChangeUpdated Saturday February 2, 2019 by Donnie Snyder.
Per Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth Baseball, starting on January 1st, 2018, all baseball and tee ball bats MUST have the USA stamp on them for tee ball, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions. Ages 13-15 (15U) can use USA bats or BBCOR bats. No other bats are legal anymore. Please see PDF file below and visit: https://www.baberuthleague.org/bat-rules.aspx for additional information. For a list of approved bats, please visit: https://usabat.com . 2 5/8" barrel bats are allowed as long as they have the USA stamp on them. Please note, softball has NOT changed. Softball bats need to be marked "official softball" or "official fastpitch".
